About Me

Born and raised in Egypt, I grew up in a home where food was everything — a way to show love, celebrate life, and bring people together. Every Eid and every special occasion meant a table full of handmade sweets, and I learned to make them the traditional way, from scratch, watching the people I love.

I carried that with me to London, Ontario, and it's what inspired me to start baking for others. Home Bites London is my small home kitchen, where I make authentic Egyptian and Middle Eastern — what many people call Arabic — sweets, cakes, and pastries.

You'll find the classics I grew up on: baklava layered by hand, flaky Egyptian feteer meshaltet, date-filled Ka'ab El Ghazal, and a full Eid cookie platter of Kahk, Ghorayeba, and petit four — alongside homemade cakes and pies for any occasion.

Everything comes from the same place: a genuine love of cooking and a deep respect for the food I grew up with. No shortcuts, no substitutes — just real homemade food, baked fresh for every order right here in London, Ontario.
